Tradition says that it protects by absorbing the dangerous forces released during childbirth. As a gift, this identity and protective symbolism invites the transmission of a cultural story.

Our reinterpretation

On each square plate, the vertical band features the diamonds, chevrons and triangles of Bogolan in the following colors: chocolate brown, ochre, mustard yellow, rust and white. The pieces are decorated to order in our Alfortville workshop: the pattern is prepared, applied and glazed by hand before firing. The packaging box measures 31 × 31 × 10 cm.

At your table

In the soft light of a morning or dinner, a linen tablecloth brings out the earthy tones of the pattern, while the square plates create a table with clean lines.
