On these square plates, a wide indigo-blue border covered with white diamonds, triangles, and broken lines surrounds a white center. On the deep plate, the pattern covers the entire surface. This set is our tribute to the iconic Ndop fabric.
🔷 The history of the pattern
Ndop is a royal fabric of the Bamileke and Bamoun peoples of Western Cameroon, resist-dyed in indigo blue and traditionally reserved for chieftaincy ceremonies.

Ndop evokes the prestige of chieftaincies and the solemnity of major ceremonies. It is a ceremonial fabric, to be viewed with respect.
Our reinterpretation
On the square plates, the wide indigo-blue border features the white diamonds, triangles, and broken lines, leaving the center white; on the deep plate, the full pattern covers the bottom. Indigo blue and white structure each piece. This set is decorated to order in our workshop in Alfortville, with the pattern prepared, applied, and glazed by hand before firing. It is presented in a 31 × 31 × 10 cm box, weighing approximately 3.5 kg.
