Light, modernity, the arrival of electricity in homes.

Along the oval rim, a lemon yellow and royal blue band, made of rays and stylized light bulbs, runs around the plate, with midnight blue, orange and white. At the bottom of the deep dishes, a pair of birds drawn from wax fabric patterns can be seen. This piece is our tribute to the iconic "Ampoules" fabric, reinterpreted under the name "Electric Bulb" ("Electric bulbs", the light bulbs, is the English name of this pagne in Nigeria).

✨ What the pattern tells

The "Ampoules" pattern evokes light, modernity and the arrival of electricity in homes. It brings this idea of light and modernity to the table.

Our reinterpretation

The design becomes a radiant band on the oval rim, in the lemon yellow, royal blue, midnight blue, orange and white colors of the box. At the bottom of the deep dishes, the pair of birds extends our silhouette concept: the shadow of an animal can accommodate any wax fabric from the catalog, while the border keeps its atmosphere; you can choose a different animal for each family member. The six plates are decorated to order in our workshop in Alfortville, pattern prepared, placed and glazed by hand before firing, and presented in a 31 × 31 × 10 cm packaging box.
