On the square deep plate, a band of geometric patterns crosses the indigo blue and white; the large speckled bowl features an inner band, while another encircles the mug. This breakfast set is our tribute to the iconic "Ndop" fabric.
🔷 The history of the pattern
Ndop is a royal fabric of the Bamileke and Bamoun peoples of Western Cameroon, resist-dyed in indigo blue and traditionally reserved for chiefdom ceremonies.

Our reinterpretation
The pattern moves from fabric to porcelain in a band on the square deep plate, an inner band on the large speckled bowl, and a band on the mug, in indigo blue and white. Each piece is decorated to order in our Alfortville workshop: pattern prepared, applied by hand, and glazed before firing. The packaging set brings together the square deep plate, the large speckled bowl, and the mug.

In the morning light, on a matte tablecloth or a light wood table, the indigo blue gives the breakfast a composed look. Ideal as a gift to celebrate a prestigious family occasion, echoing ceremonial Ndop.

The decoration is applied and fixed by firing using the same process as our plates, which have been used daily by families for over two years and put through the dishwasher and microwave every day, with no visible wear on the decoration observed to date.
