Set of 12 square plates, Milliardaire wax print

Rectangles stacked like bundles or bricks on a striped background: a pattern whose name says it all.

A wide band of lavender blue and plum, striped with fine lines, crosses the square plate and comes alive with anise green and grey rectangles stacked like bundles on the white porcelain. Here is our tribute to the iconic "Milliardaire" fabric.

💰 One pattern, a thousand names

Rectangles stacked like bundles or bricks on a striped background: a graphic pattern whose name says it all. In the world of wax fabrics, it is the market women and those who wear the fabrics who give them their names.

• Milliardaire (French-speaking West Africa): a pagne classified among those that say, in French, "money calls money".

✨ What the pattern tells

Prosperity and success are displayed with panache. To give this pattern is to pass on this symbolism of success and prosperity.

Our reinterpretation

On the square plate, the wide band of lavender blue and plum takes up the fine lines and the anise green and grey rectangles of the fabric; the white of the porcelain lets the design breathe. The plates are decorated to order in our workshop in Alfortville: pattern prepared, applied and glazed by hand before firing. The set is presented in two boxes of 31 × 31 × 10 cm.

At your table

In the soft light of a dinner, on a matte tablecloth, the colored squares bring a graphic and warm presence to the guests. To give as a gift to accompany a success and a prosperity that one wishes to share, with panache.
