In southern Côte d'Ivoire, Dida weavers braid raffia fibers into a fabric as fine as linen, then tie and dye it: these prestigious pieces were worn during ceremonies, and dancers brandished them with elegance.

Our reinterpretation

The pattern moves from fabric to porcelain inside the mug: chocolate brown and cream woven fibers line the wall, while a trim highlights the rim. The exterior remains white and pebbled, with a textured finish; the palette combines chocolate brown, caramel, cream, and white. Each piece is decorated to order in our workshop in Alfortville, with the pattern prepared, applied, and glazed by hand before firing.
