The flared teacup is covered with an all-over indigo blue and white pattern; its saucer features a wide band from the same geometric repertoire. We present it as our tribute to the iconic "Ndop" fabric.

✨ What the pattern tells
The Ndop pattern evokes the prestige of traditional chiefdoms and the solemnity of major ceremonies. It has a ceremonial presence, to be evoked with respect without trivializing it. Through its symbolism, it accompanies moments of prestige and solemnity that one wishes to highlight.
Our reinterpretation
On this set, the all-over pattern covers the cup in indigo blue and white, while the saucer features a wide band. The transition from fabric to porcelain retains the graphic strength of Ndop and its ceremonial character. The cup and saucer are decorated to order in our Alfortville workshop, with the pattern prepared, applied and glazed by hand before firing.

The design is applied and fixed by firing using the same process as our plates, which have been used daily by families for over two years and put through the dishwasher and microwave every day, with no visible wear on the design observed to date.
