Collection: Wax Collection: the tableware of African pagnes

In West Africa, a wax print fabric is not chosen for its colors alone: it has a name, and that name sends a message. It is the market women and those who wear the fabrics who give them their names, with great humor and wisdom. Our Wax collection brings these fabrics to the table.

In the collection

Round, square and oval plates, coffee and tea cups, mugs, speckled bowls, salad bowls, platters and breakfast sets: each fabric is available on several pieces, to create a matching or deliberately mismatched table. Each piece is decorated to order in our workshop in Alfortville: the pattern is prepared, applied and glazed by hand before firing. Colors, first name, date or short message: it can be personalized on request, and a broken piece can be replaced individually.
